Guys,
I'm from the Tampa area and have some friends from Costa Rica flying into the above for a week. Any recommendations on attractions and restaurants? They have shoping on their list, but any unique must see stuff would be greatly appreciated.

There is a law in latin america that all vacationers and visitors to united states must proceed directly to the saw grass mall in sunrise to fill large empty suit cases with crap to take home..
Then from there proceed directly to walt disney world

I used to drive by Joes on my way to Smith & Wollensky Steak House. I was down there before the Steak House open and had no idea that Joe's was so famous. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. I'd go to both places, can't beat the view from the bar at Smith & Wollensky at South Pointe Park.
I think a tour of South Beach is a must for any traveler. You can also get lost shopping in "The Grove" (Coconut Grove) in S. Miami. The Zoo, Aquarium and Botanical Gardens are a great place to go.
BTW, try to keep your eye's on the road, not easy. ;)

Bring two wallets and a comfortable pair of shoes for the wait.;) Yo also have to go the the Grove and check out Monty Trainers. It is not as earthy and authentic as it was in the old days before they built the new building, but you still have to go.

Nice! They already mentioned going to Sawgrass. Orlando isn't in their plans.

The Opa Taverna in South Beach is a lot of fun on Fridays and Saturdays.

Go to Bass Pro's Outdoor World in Dania Beach and then go next door to the IGFA Hall of Fame.
