Looking to get into a lobster style boat for a little protection from spray and sun while fishing, looking in the 21 to 24 foot range, outboard only for beach days like to have the motor out of the sand, have seen a 1993 stieger 21 and a 1998 eastern 22, liked both, what brands would you recomend for fishing in the Northeast, there is also a Sisu i am going to look at, any makers use all figerglass.
Any insight would be helpful.

Either would be fine. PErsonally did not like the rid of the center consoles Steiger puts out so the Eastern would probably be my choice of the two. Although the Steiger will resale better most likely. You also might like some of the smaller rigs by C Dory http://www.c-dory.com/boats/classic/angler-22/
