Local supermarket is having a sale on lobster tails, I htink I am going to pick a couple up to throw on the grill. Anyone have any suggestions on a recipe? I've never cooked/grill lobster tails, so I'd appreciate any tips.

When I have done them in the past I split length wise and have two open faces.
Baste with a little butter and maybe light sprinkle of old bay type seasoning.
Not really much to do with Lobster grill and dip in Butter....

split and place shell side down on the bbq. Cook for a few minutes untill you can smell the goodness and see a slight colour change. Flip em and cook for a bout half as long as you had them shellside down. Do not over cook.
Add seasoning etc if you must but I am a firm beliver in k.i.s.s (keep it simple stupid) cooking when it comes to seafood, especially with something as good as lobster. The natural flavour is just to sweet and good to be ruined with avg sauces etc. Though i also like to wok toss in chilli /tomato sauce or blackbean garlic and chilli but these work better with crab.

Thanks guy, sounds like just some butter and that'll be all.
JT- What do you have sprinkled on those steaks?

I use skewers thru the tails to keep them from curling too and just baste with butter and fresh garlic minced.
