I have an older Okuma nitryx that I had for a couple of years that's paired with 6' St. Croix. I just lined it with Power Pro. I was able to head out Sunday for some fishing and noticed that at times, the anti-reverse didn't work. I know this isn't a top tier reel but I liked the setup...is it worth trying to save? I'd hate to loose a nice fish because it failed at the wrong time. Is this an easy fix? Any thoughts?

The anti reverse dog is probably slightly corroded. Take it apart, clean it, lube it up, and you'll be back in business.
