My son has a 1999 21 ft Contender with a single 200 and I noticed that it sits in the water with a starboard list with the water line up to half way up the stb'd drain. Gas tank full and no water in stringer or unusual loading on that side. Batteries are on that side. I can see offsetting the steering wheel to compensate for prop torque while underway but not designing the boat with a static list. Any comments?

x2. not sure why the batteries where placed in the starboard aft. Mine were in the console. No list.
