We met at Hurricane Moes at Pirates Cove Wednesday night to discuss fishing Thursday . . . the weather was iffy . . . Pablo had brought two friends with him
We ended up fishing but waited until 9:30 to let the thunderstorms go through. The weather was rough but his 36 ft Grady White express handled them . . . very well laid out for fishing. Got a couple of good ideas that will help with the setup of my gear :)
We got hit three times, twice we were bit off by a toothy critter (both time blue and white sea witches), and the third time we got a 35 lb yellowfin that nibbled on a cedar plug.
We were the only ones on the water, starting at the point and slowly working our way up. Did not see another sport fisher all day.
Pablo is a gentleman as were his friends Bob and John.
We finished with a good supper and an agreement that we had to go fishing together again.
