Question for the HDS gurus out there.
On the LCX machines you were able to adjust the number of points in a trail. I would turn it way down because I make alot of short trips to the fishing grounds from my port. With a really long trail, you wind up with alot of overlap to the point where the screen is covered when you zoom way in. I adjusted it down to the point where the trail would disappear every other trip (hope that makes sense). In the area I fish, the fish tend to pattern, so I find myself overlapping trails all the time.
On the HDS I cannot find a way to reduce the number of points in a trail. Its really high, and the route in and out of the harbor is already covered. Aside from deleting the trail every so often, is there a way around this?
