I have never been to the left coast before. My daughter and SIL and another couple are going to some car show around June 5-10th in LA. They are looking for a hotel that is "safe" clean and reasonably priced. Not looking for a plush first class hotel, just safe and close to what tourist would like to see and do. Been trying the Trip Advisor site, but keep coming up with negative reviews on hotels that look to fit the bill.
