I have sold and replaced my offshore and my bay boat this year and we all know that it is a slow market out there boat sales wise, so to sell your boat you need several things going for you:
1. Good photos of the boat so a prospective buyer can see every area of the boat.
2. A good description of the boat and it's accessories.
3. A clean boat. A boat that is waxed, and in showroom condition shows a prospective buyer how you take care of your boat.
4. The boat must be priced right. If you are asking too much, or trying to get book value, etc., your boat will not sell. Both of my boats were priced right (ie. well below market) because I wanted to get what money I could out of them and move on and as a result, one sold in 6 days and the other in 10 days.
5. List your boat on every website out there so it is visible to every potential purchaser, and this is why I placed the ads for my boats thru anglersedgemarine - and they can help you too.
