Where do you guys get your frozen ballyhoo? Looking to buy a case soon. Baitmasters is $111 for a case of mediums (12 baits per pack case of 12 packs) plus $50 in ground shipping to NC. Any help would be appreciated.

pretty sure you could go buy a case at tex's tackle or east coast sports and not have to ship. Tex's had some baitmasters the other day.

I have fished pretty much every "brand" of ballyhoo down here in So. Florida and have had the best luck with Baitmasters. There baits are well rigged and prepared. They don't wash out like the others. I have used and re-froze them for use again and they hold up. Spend the $$ you wont be disappointed.

I usually buy enough to last a season. Never had a problem with them. I never re freeze them after thawed and use the leftover thawed for cut bait/chunking.

If you within the UPS 1 day ground zone on this map, then go wih Alltackle.com. If outside 1 day ground, better off trying to find another local source.

Carolina Outdoor Sportsman in Raleigh. They used to be on Strickland, but they just moved. They are at 2411 E Millbrook Rd. Not sure on their price, but Ken is pretty fair. I think he will be quite a bit better than that by the time you factor in shipping.

We have been using Baitmaters for years with no complaints. Try to find a local tackleshop that gets big orders that you can "add on" to and make a deal with them to save your shipping charges.....

What are you paying for ballyhoo?
In the OBX at the Wanachese marina and other tackle shops they were charging about $10 to a high of $12 a dozen in 2009 . . . saw both Bionic and Baitmaster as well as another product but do not remember the name
Wondering if they are keeping the price low to attract customers who then buy other stuff ;?

hey aftergolf
are you going to get them shipped to raliegh or down here to hampstead. If you getem shipped doen here maybe we can order two cases together adn split the shipping, dont know if that would be any cheaper for us, you check it out and let me know. you know i am by the swingbridge. you could have it shipped to my house if you want and you could come pick it up when you come down if thats easier. i have a freezer big enough to hold two cases til you get down.
Just trying to save us both some money in the long run.
thanks Kevin Taylor

Kevin,
Heard on FPT that Island Tackle stocks Baitmasters and Capt Dave was going to try to arrange for a power buy. I am going to wait a week and see if he can get a good price for the FPT members.
If that does not work out, maybe we can go in together.

Give Brant at Ocean Isle Fishing Center a call if the FPT deal that Dave might be able to get doesn’t work. Brant has cases of baitmasters and sells them for about what Baitmasters base price is without shipping or a little less. He has an event this weekend the 27 and I think he has a deal on a case.

I use baitmasters, I live in Apex, I'd go in with you but I am stocked up right now. Thy pull better than anything I have used.

Go to Oregon Inlet Fishing enter. Their baits are pristine.

As he mentioned Ocean Isle Fishing Center has a spring kick off sale this weekend with either 5 or 10 % off all cases of Baitmasters. Picked up three cases from them last year and saved from previous direct purchases from Baitmaster. They also have a killer deal on mono for .01 cent a yard on respools
