Anyone know a good quality / reasonably priced place to have my bottom paint done in CT. The boat is a 2310 parker walk around on a trailer and I have had it bottom painted before. Even if you can’t recommend a place, any advice on price per foot or ablative paint brands to use or stay away from is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
I can't help ou with a professional painter, I always did mine myself. It isn't hard. My 2510 would take less than a day, but it really depends on how much if any sanding you need to do first. If you've always used ablative, you won't have much.
Anyway, I've had good luck with Interlux Micron and Petit 40. You won't need more than a gallon for two coats.

Just looked at Petit Vivid.......$220 a gallon. Go with the Blue Water, its a better value, Especially if you paint the bottom every year

Thanks for the feedback. Any historical knowledge on how much I should expect to pay total or per foot to have it professionally done? I am also tempted to attempt it myself. The boat is on a bunk trailer. Do I paint it on the trailer? If so how do you get the area under the bunks ? The boat is kept in the back part of the Niantic River in CT and the growth can be very bad.
