Yes
USAA wont write me any longer !!!! after 56 years !!

the beach pool is only thing avail i am told
I told them that house had shutters metal roof roof ties and put to miami dade code
years ago !! no discount !!! they treat them all the same !!!

the alabama Legislation needs to to do something !!!

I am told sales of Homes due to many issues and cost associated with insurance is
killing the market

Looking at going bare which I hate to do but 1000k month for insurance is crazy

Alabama needs to elect Insurance Commissioner not appoint them.

Insurance rates are very low in Montgomery (and 90%) of the state - so majority of people are happy.

Just did a rental house with Farmers. $650 for them $487 for AIUA. House is in West Mobile by the Airport and last year rate was $675.

I have had allstate for 20 years and have boats, cars, house, life insurance, everything. Never had a claim and never had a problem, but they are dropping my wind on June 1. I think we are going to make a new insurance company very happy because I am moving everything.

I've been with ALLSTATE for 25 years with everything, last year they split the wind/hail out of their homeowners policy, I'm gonna be forced to shop next year myself.

What gets me is I live in Mobile off Airport Blvd. I am nowhere near water and my parents live 2 miles away and they are not canceling them.

Cherry Picking what its called !!!

Seems to me insurance companies should insure all aspects, if they choose to cherry pick
then they are not allowed to write any in that area !!!

Florida should run all insurance out of the state if they wont write all types
Then everyone in the state would use citizens, Cars, Boats Houses, you name it.
the state should Mandate that the premiums will be banked, Not invested in the market!!!
setup as a complete NON-PROFIT ( now THATS NOVEL ) only funds used to run the company and PAY NORMAL salaries !!!! NO CEOs SKIMMING 13 MILLION a year pay days !!
After 5 years of premiums through out state the Pile would be High !!!!

Also reform Liability Lawsuits that make since !!!
IF my pool has a locked fence around it, and posted sign up and a alarm system in it
and someone climbs over and drowns then guess what NOT MY FCUINKG Fault period !!!
instead someone thinks its MY deal.

THIS COUNTRY IS GOING TO HELL IN A HURRY
AMERICA WAKE UP !!!!!!!

I live in Montrose. Allstate dropped my wind also. I have Lexington now, with wind, comparable to Allstate's premiums.

Stay out of the wind pool if at all possible. I have friends in the insurance adjusting world who say it sucks.
