I would love to retire at Magnolia Springs, can anyone give any info. on taxes and cost of living. I fish out of Orange beach, but live in North MS. Being an Episcopalian, I love the Church. Looks like a great place to retire.

A local real estate person would love to answer those kinds of questions since I don't think that there'd be a Chamber of Commerce in the town. You'd be about half-way between Mobile and Pensacola and a ton of shopping and good hospitals in Daphne/Fairhope.
Suggest you get a local insurance person involved, too. Somewhere in that area might be the border line between Beach rates and Normal rates. A huge difference unless you can pay cash for your property and self-insure.

I have a fishing camp in Bon Secour. Magnolia Springs is only place I know of in the US where mail delivery is made by boat! Cool area. About 3 miles up the road.
