Haven't heard of anything going on other than yellow perch but if the weather keeps warming up it won't be long..... Boat is still shrink wrapped but did get some new trolling combos the other day so can't wait for some action to start happening, its almost April :)

It's supposed to be pretty nice, mid 50's, sunny and little to no wind. Looks like a good weekend to get out and take a cruise. I don't know that there's much biting anywhere right now, if anyone has any ideas please post em. I would take any kind of pullage right now.

In past years, in Jan and Feb, as long as the ramp at Mariner Point Park was usable and tha water wasn't hard, we would launch there and run to Dundee and Salt Peter to fish for bass.
In Joppatowne, we fish for bass and crappie.
Maybe not the fish some want to pursue but I like to get out when ever possible and keep my casting accuracy somewhat on target.

I just finished shoveling snow for the past almost 4 hours. I am the last house on a dead end street and the plows do not push the snow all the way to the end of the road.
When returning with the boat, to be able to back the boat into the garage, I need to pull down to the end of the road, past the garage, then back in. With the snow there I would not be able to do it. It was mostly hard packed and still 4'+ high in most areas.
My arms and shoulders are pumped and the lumbar is sore. I need a
