Going to get offshore for some schoolie tuna and sharks this year. Looking to do some trollling and jigging with the same reels.

Looking for quality that I can add to down the road.

First thing that comes to mind if this is in your price range would be the Avet HX 5/2 MC Raptor!!! Avet's are made in the USA and come backed with a 1yr warranty and all parts/service are available in California.

That is the link and the price is $559.99. These reels are the future of fishing, not big and bulky like your typical 30 or 50 wide reels but has all the drag and the spectra capacity to stop the big one.

It is very versatile and can be used for trolling and especially jigging!

If this is in your budget, I would highly advise you to go with this reel! Gold,Silver,Blue,Black, Gunmetal, and GREEN CAMO are available!

Any further questions ask here or shoot me a PM!

Thanks,

JV
