Chevron stations around Mobile have not yet given in to the ethanol scourge and have continued to offer 100% gasoline, but I heard a rumor that is ending next month and that they are being forced to blend 10% ethanol into their fuels. :mad:
Again, this may be just a rumor, so is there anyone here who can confirm or refute it?
I don't know how my old boat is going to react to that cr@p. :(

It's a fact. It's coming. Thank you Federal government! :mad:
Probably by the end of summer. I'll keep y'all posted when it happens. Won't be just Chevron stations but all stations pulling out of Pascagoula.

My understanding is that gas with ethanol, by law, has to have a sticker stating so on the pump. So if there is no sticker on your pump I would think you are in the clear.

Maybe, maybe not. The Feds dictated a certain percentage of gross gasoline sales by supplier had to be ethanol. That's why some locations have ethanol and some do not, some stations have it and some do not. If Alabama stations are required to sell only ethanol, that's a state issue they did unto themselves ... ;)

That would be a long way to go for a fill-up, but if the fish are biting.... ;cool;
Thanks to everybody for the replies.
