I have 'heard' that people have taken small tuna on the big (20) ahab. Put some spectra on it and you should be alright.

Cabellas is advertising them for under $100.

Is the ST 30 a tuna reel?

I'd say with Shakespeare Ugly Stick Tigers you will have a great combo for Stripers. Others say it can be used for small tuna, too, but I have no first hand information on tuna. Maybe this summer!
