Does anybody use live white trout for snapper, AJ's, or anything else for that matter?? Last summer at Grand Isle I caught a bunch of 6-8 inch white trout, threw them in the live well and headed for the rigs. Didn't get a bite, however I did catch fish with croakers and cut bait.

We use them both live and dead, and the grouper and snapper love them. Butterfly the dead one's.

They are great for red snapper. Use live or butterflied as others have said.

You should try silver perch, can't beat them.

If they weren't biting white trout, you were not on the fish.
