For those in the local area to Oregon, OCEAN (Oregon Coalition for Educating Anglers) is sponsoring the annual Saltwater Fishing Convention in Newport, OR, March 6th & 7th. This year is shaping up to be a great convention with some interesting topics.

Weather allowing there will be a Coast Guard demonstration of de-watering a vessel and victim rescue using a helo.
