Still seeing pics of boats catching a 100 or so stripers a day. Any reports as to where these fish are at? North or south of Rudee?

I haven't heard any reliable information in the past two weeks but before that they were WAY south of Rudee. Go to Duck and take a left and head another 6-10 miles.

Well, it ain't gonna' be in the Chessie (this forum), got to hit the ocean to have a keeper.
I'm figuring they are a few miles offshore of NC about now.
Outside my area now, so I don't keep track of 'em until they turn around.

They are still in the Chessie. The cows left but the smaller resident fish are remaining.
I was just out and saw some activity in about 45' of water. Dunno' what it was, but the locals also say the Stripes are still here.
You can fish for them, but it has to be with barbless hooks.
I'm not destroying my lures for a small chance of catching to throw back.
It was like GLASS out there today!
You don't need to use barbless hooks until march, probally after march 22

There is a proposal on the table that will require barbless everywhere March and most of April (pre-spawn).
