Happy New Year!
The DC Metro MSSA chapter will meet Wednesday January 6 @ 7:30pm. Captain Sean Crawford will be our guest speaker. In addition to being a fishing guide on the bay, Sean is an Oceanographer and will be presenting on Tides and Currents in the Chesapeake. Sean has over 20 years experience fishing the bay, and he is ready to share his tips. This will be an informative and useful presentation for all tidal anglers. Gary Richie, owner of the tackle company Spankin’ Stripers will also be at the meeting. Gary will educate us on when to use the different types of parachutes, bucktails and jigs that he makes, and have some of his tackle for sale.
As usual, we will be sharing fishing reports and tips. I’ll bring some beverages and chips. Door prizes will be fantastic including some nice parachutes, bucktails, and offshore lures!
Don’t miss the meeting, Wednesday January 6, 7:30pm at 4805 Edgemoor ln, Room A, Bethesda, MD 20814. There is plenty of parking, and the meeting room is only a block from the metro.
