Technical Issues with THT website - Private messages

I can't receive private messages. In my options folder it says receive messages from Moderators and contacts only. I keep un-checking it and save the changes but it still comes back. Any ideas?

Here is the text I saw when I tried to PM you, maybe someone has disallowed you????

Barry Turano has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

If you are trying to send this message to multiple recipients, remove Barry Turano from the recipient list and send the message again.

There is something wrong in my settings.It will not update if I uncheck "Receive private messages from contacts and moderators only" I used to receive PM's now I can't. I never changed the setting. Also the setting will not update. I even logged off and logged back in, that did not work. IB please help.:banghead:

Go to User CP, edit options and make sure under Private Messages only the first box is checked.

Tried everything. Problem is the system will not update my settings. Very frustrating.:banghead:
Maybe the techs at IB will have an answer.
