I was directed here by another tht user. I have just bought my first offshore boat and am trying to find some good rod/reel combos. I will be fishing the gulf and doing some trolling and bottom fishing. I have been looking at the Penn Internationals and can't figure out the suffix codes. The Ie; T, TW, VSW ETC. Also I have noticed some 114 6/0 or 113 4/0 how does that number system work. I have also looked at the shimanos and wondered the same thing. any suggestions would be well received.

Sorry for the delay. December was a blur!
T,TW are discontinued. VSW is a 2 speed international, VW is a single speed international. 4/0 and 6/0 are just penn sizes...6/0 being bigger than 4/0.
Depending on your price range we can set you up to what you want to spend. The 113H Penn senator combos would work, or internationals...penn,shimano,avets there are differences for all.
