John,

I have a Penn Torque 5'8" 80-130 rod. I am looking at either a Avet LX, a Shimano TN30, a Shimano TN20, or a Penn Torque 200 for a jigging reel. Which do you recommend? Can either handle 80lb braid? I am a little partial to the Avets. I purchased a few Avet LXs for King fishing from you and also a pair of Avet EXW 30/2 from you as well.

Yo Louis..im sorry I missed this thread, dont know how I did.

Avet reels do not fit the Torque Rods...A TN reel or a the trq200 would fit the reelseat. I recommend the TRQ200 with 80lb braid or 500yds of 50lb with a 50yd mono topshot.... that would be a deluxe setup!!
