Jettie fishin tonite at one of my local spots. not alot of action very slow pickins. came away with one nice schoolie. fishin the tip of the jettie, very very slow retrieve with my 3" shallow swimming bomber plug. striper hit right at rocks, he must have been holding up tight. wasnt sure i had him at first very sluggish (cold water) few light head shakes then i realized i had a fish on. thought i may have been snagged at first. got'em in took a pic and gently released. oddly enough just after i caught him someone lit off some fireworks a few hundred yards away over the bay. overall nice nite. striper and fireworks, pretty cool.
