Please post pics of how you have your bait cutting table set up... particularly in your contenders. I have eyeballed this one as a possibility:

It seems to fix the problem of the tray being loose in the rod holder... downside is it appears to be shorter than their "levelock" mount, and I'm a pretty tall guy. ;?

I have two of these, One for each side of the boat! One crew member on each side cutting bait all day! Work nicely!

I do mine with a Penn dowrigger base for the rod holder. Its not foldable but it doesn't move either. I just bolted some good solid cutting board to it and made a rim around the edges with starboard.

Just get the normal Magma 20" or 30" cutting table with the regular level lock adapter. Mine stays in the rodholder all the time. Trailering 2hrs each way, running 130 miles offshore, etc. Never had a problem with is coming loose. Most of the time knives stay in the tray also.

not a 31 and not a "table" but I did this with 1/4" starboard. see pic. look on either side of baitwell. No holes to install. I know the 31 has 2 baitwells and not sure enough room to do this on that hull.

Just a rocket launcher on the transom with a magma board with rod holder mount. Works great. I have this new setup on my 33t as well

I have the Magma cutting board and it is just ok. Looking for something a little larger and a little nicer. I hate having to tie up a rod holder! This is what I am going to install on my Venture. Made by Birdsall Marine in West Palm Beach FL.. High quality with a nice look. Good luck with your search!

Fits in the rod holder. Adjustable angle. Folds up in a bag they give you.

Having one built on my 31t--starboard across the whole back over the live well lids---it will have molding around it and cut out for snips and knifes---there will be holes to access the live well latches and they will be covered w/ the starbord....will post pics when done.

I have the large magma cutting board that comes packaged with the level lock. I also have a magma Newport grill, and bought another level lock mount for that. The mounts are weighted a decent amount and have never come loose or lifted out of a holder. So far they have performed flawlessly.

Back in Black, that is some nice shot. Looks you're rollin pretty good too. The golden glow ofthe water looks like how the water looks in the fall.

What is that mounted to, and can i open the two transom live wells on a contender 31 with that mounted over it, you think?

I have this. Doesnt take up a rod holder and stays put. Make sure to mount it so it drains away. I put a couple little rubber footies under mine. Its also slimmer for storage. You can get an extra mounting block (for lack of a better term) if you want to be able to move it around the boat.

Just a little advice . . . you want your bait table hanging over the side, not the transom . . . especially when it's sunny out!

They usually drain out the back edge and all that pogy, blackfin and bonita juice, blood, guts etc is gonna end up in your euro transom.

I prefer it to go over the side.

This is just my opinion and I love to chunk . . . hard!

I have the larger sized magma one - love it.

P.S. I don't leave mine on the side when running, if it catches the spray just right it redirects it towards my buddies sleeping in the bean bags (sometimes I do it on purpose haha).

Thanks. Not much of a photographer but every once in a while you get lucky. Was out in Lake Maurapas (sp?) and was documenting fuel burn on the, then new, motors. Had the camera out taking shots of the smartcraft gauges in action and it just looked like a nice shot. I think we were doing about 50 mph.
