john

I just bought a Luhrs 28 open, I have nothing LOL I am having 6 rod holders put in
there will be 2 on the stern in the back corners, outriggers not going on boat till next year, I have plenty of stuff from fishing the canyons 10 years ago, but no longer have
the reels and rods nor do i have lures rods or reels to troll for bluefish and stripers at the shewsbury rocks, my farthest venture will be trolling for Tuna in the mudhole.

where do we start ????

was thinking 2 rods for blues stripers ? 7-8 foot rods with carbaloy guides with 2 penn line counter reels with 50-80 dacron topped with 300 feet of monel and then top that with 6 feet of 50lb florcarbon and a nice sampo 100lbs ball swivel ??

then get 2 penn 30 or 50 2 speed wide internationals with tuna standup rods
and set them up with 80lb cortland dacron and do a wind on leader of flourcarbon

also need some tubes maybe 1 unberella with burgandy and black tubes as well as
a couple of bunker spoons and a few cedar plugs for the wire set-up

would also need a few rigs for bottom fishing etc circle hooks need lots of help here

Thanks
Mark

Mark I love the 28 Luhrs. I thought this message went through last Friday but obviously it didnt sorry. We have everything you need. I would get away from the dacron on the 30s or 50s...that is old school. Time to goto spectra if you want to go that route. We have umbrella rigs here at the shop that will work for what your doing, all the rigs, etc. We have great combos on the penns with the standup rods and can do all the rigging for you.

If you are doing a wire setup you need to take advantage of our 113HSP sale...$129.99. 40 and 50# premarked 300' monel is hard to come by now, malin co. has major shortages. But that is the most popular wire setup for sure with the dacron backing. 8' Seeker wireline bunker spoon rods are the weapon of choice!!!

You really need to give me a call on all this 888 35 4 REEL or come down to our shop.... Did I meet you at the Saltwater Fishing Expo in Somerset???

Thanks Mark...
