As you know, sportfishing is the main force behind conservation, to prevent overharvest and save the various species of migrating fish from further extinction.
Coming up in January, 2010 HB 2266 will be on deck, to make legal commercial selective harvest gear. CCA will need your votes and your financial support to make it happen. A similar bill did not pass in Oregon this year, which means, there are no guarantees. Please join CCA and find a way to make a donation to the state chapter or get involved in a local chapter on the banquet committee.
In other news Washington Puget Sound Chapters are working on a project to build several concrete saltwater reefs and another project to increase hatchery production of certain salt water ground fish, that need help.
