My wife and I were coming in last night to find that our friendly neighborhood jet ski boys (who were jumping my wake on the way out and pissing me off for getting so close) experienced a screw up on the ramp.

Sorry for the picture quality. We were on the boat with only a cell phone.

That would be described as "Lake Lice Karma".

I bet everyone ran to help, right?

There wasn't much help that could be offered. If there were people in the truck it would be different but everyone was out. Those of us on boats couldn't get close enough due to shallow water (and what would we do anyway?).

He backed down too far on a bad ramp with the tide coming in quickly. All that could be done was to call a tow truck and wait.

Maybe they didn't have a trailer and were trying to do a "float in" on the Toyota after they opened the back????????? ;?

You should have RUSHED in, docked your boat, grabbed a lawnchair and a beer, and sat there (laughing your azz off! ) until they finally got it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

KARMA - it's what's for dinner ... or breakfast ... or lunch - you just NEVER know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:grin::grin::thumbsup:

Regards,

Joe

I would have had to make a just off plane speed pass or two by them.

Maybe they were waiting for the perfect wake to jump the truck over and get it on land...

Looks like those tire tracks are kind of deep. Is that Mud on the ramp? Yikes!

Yes, it's a very bad ramp. Within the same facility is a good ramp that can be used for $10 per day or $100 per year. I can't imagine what they spent for the tow to save $10. While we were watching the tow driver get wet we were thinking "That's going to cost them!".

I wonder if they were current on payments....

I think topofthefoodchain has the best 'help'. Approach the ramp @ less than planing speed, put her in a turn & hope the resulting wake will 'wash' the landcruiser into shallower water.

Don't get mad. Get even.

They were lucky they were not towed out by a Marine towing company. It would have been SALVAGE!
