I was just gifted a Miya epoch deep drop reel, spooled w/ stainless steel wire. I have no clue about wire line. Should I ditch it and respool w/ braid. Will a haywire twist be dependable for deep dropping? Thx

I would try it before I respooled with $100+ of braid. I use braid but have thought that wire may have some advantage. Let us know how it works.
