I have sent three e-mails (starting with last Saturday) to the address given under "if you have trouble signing in" and as of last night, had not yet received a response. ;?

I was not able to sign in for all that time.

So last night I went in and asked for a new password and finally was able
to log-in. :)

I realize when systems are changed that there will be glitches, but I feel I should have gotten some help from the people who run this forum.:trout:

Thank you,

slapshot 38

I'm sorry that you feel that we were not helpful, the opposite is our intent. The problem has arisen from many users not having an updated email address on their account. If your email address isn't correct, we can't send you the email to update your password.

This is making the process of getting people their passwords painfully slow and from last I heard there were a couple hundred emails in the queue.

I am just trying to understand . . . If you are having troubles signing in, then how were you able to make this posts? ;?

;?OR, do you have a question that is different from the original poster who started this thread . . . and if so . . . then Dick's answer would maybe have been for that question and not your questions

Again just trying to understand this software a bit better;?

I just spoke to Customer Service, and there is still a large queue in replying to people's emails. They are working through them and should be contacting you shortly.

Smart ass..my problems were not with signing-in however I have contacted their support on two occasions about other issues and NOT ONE REPLY  This site was purchased by Internet Brands not some mom & pop operation and there is NO EXCUSE for having a large number of emails in queue, as customer support apparently told someone else.

To quote IB website, "Internet Brands' sites are often leaders in their categories and have received dozens of best-in-class awards" So this is the best we can expect from the self-proclaimed leader? I used to login several times through out the day just to see what interesting topics were being discussed...no more...maybe once a week and less and less. Just not worth it IMO, there are plenty of other boating sites run by guys who are truly interested in boating and running a good site. IB could care less whether this site was about crocheting or boating, it's simply another website to earn ad revenue from....
