Possibly one of the best boats on the show: STRIKE 37 WALKROUND. Anybody knows the price tag with diesels?

Did anyone catch the price on the 35 CC with desiels and the walk around with the triples?

I went to look at the 35 and it was late on Sunday just before dark. I had my friend jump into the boat to look at how deep the fish box was and some A-HOLE, in the boat parked next to it, yelled at us. He asks "can I help you" and I say "yes, is this yours" and he replies "No, is it yours". That led to a debate about what time the show ended and him screaming about how you can't just step onto a boat if nobody is there.
We walked away and never got any info, too bad for Strike since I have cash in hand and I'm looking to buy a twin diesel CC. All I did learn was Strike should fire the monkey that worked the show. The show was supposed to be open until 8pm and at like 6:45 the inwater displays looked like rats running to leave a sinking ship. Maybe if I get the notion I might check up with them and get some pricing.

I didn't mind that nobody was there, I figured maybe the guy was in the restroom. But it took a good 10 minutes to finish getting yelled at by the guy in the boat next door and the rep never showed. I think maybe I'll call over to Strike and see what they are offering. I need to get someone started on building a boat for me in the next moth or two if there will be any chance of getting it done by the end of the year.

My wife spoke with the people at Strike and they are very nice to deal with. She said they were quite sorry about the incident at the boat show and that it was perfectly fine that I went on the boat, since that's what it was there for. I'll be making plans to go see one in my area in the next week. I'll post some details after I'm done.

Well I got my time aboard the Strike I saw at the Maimi show. As luck would have it the owner of the boat lives in Ft. Lauderdale so I met the owners of the Strike company at the boat.
I had a great time both with the owners of the boat "pisces" and the owners of Strike. As it turns out all of us are from New Jersey and Mrs. Strike even went to the same school as I did. After mush talk about Jersey, the food, and our childhood we got down to business.
I crawled around the entire boat and asked a lot of questions. The 35 I was looking at had 2 big diesel engines with jet drives. I was looking to do with smaller engines and stern drives, which they say can be done, no problem. I also had some ideas and wishes that could be incorporated like a flip down TV and underwater camera system.
The boat itself is a nice wide beam at 11ft and very stable, even with 3 people standing on one side it remained pretty level. The decks are textured with non skid and free of any obstructions. Gunnel hight is just above the knee at the stern, great for handling a billfish or droping divers off the side, and just about the low chest up front.
By the way they also had a bad to the bone 46 Strike parked right next to the 35. If I could afford the big boat and the fuel I would have taken it on the spot.

I don't own a Strike but if I did buy a WA they would be 1 of 2 that I would seriously consider. The boat they had at the convention center @ Miami was 2nd to none. I have met with them a number of times over the last several years and the people at Strike are great to deal with and are very straight shooters. You have to appreciate the small / medium builder that will be flexible and will bend over backwards to earn your business and service you.
Three thumbs up to the folks at Strike and the great WA's they build !

PS ... I think the in water displays @ the Marriot closed at 6PM (Conv ctr was open till 8) so that why you may not have seen reps on the docks / boats.
