The Boating Forum - SURPRISE - - - Miss-Be-Haven Will Have a Marlin Tower

YES, Arctekmarine and I have come to an agreement and they are putting a marlin tower on Miss-Be-Haven.

This will not be a 10 storey sky scraper. :o

It will have a "buggey" top and the radar mounted on top of that.

I will be standing on the roof of the cabin.

The unit will be bolted onto the cabin and for travel, it will have to be unbolted . . . the tower will be bolted to the deck for all transport requirements.

The deed is done and it will be completed before I arrive in Pirates Cove . . . I will stop at Arctekmarine's shop, on my way down to OBX, and they will do the install c/w Shaeffer outriggers and a centre rigger :grin:

Paul Buske (Reel Obsession) has agreed to help me mount the radar once I get to Pirate's Cove :grin:

Will you be able to fit under the bridge leaving Rudder Creek at Pirates Cove or will you have to take the scenic "long way around" around Ballast Point? Peter

Auguste...Sounds Great but watch out for the radar beams when you are up top, with that powerfull radar you bought it will shrivle your precious parts into rasins. :grin:

The radar will be on top of the buggy (canvas top) so brain and family jewels should be safe

YES it will be the long senic route at Pirates Cove . . . will not be able to pass under the bridge

METHINKS .......that Auguste is adding a conning tower and the marlin tower is just a ruse for his periscope.....run silient...run deep......I also heard that he is adding a super tech type shop vac to the Miss-Be-Haven which will be able to suck fish right out of the water and right up into his fish box...culling em by weight and size....Hummmmmmmmmmmm......just rumors (rumours)or are they?????????????/ :grin: :grin:
