Technical Issues with THT website - The admins are liars!!!

How do you cancel your account on here?

I've sent multiple PMs to THTMgt, yet my account is still active.

Why just petend you where never here .

dude, you never even posted anything on here other than to cancel your account... why not just browse as a guest??? Your fault man.

That would mean less members. And the more members they have the better sales pitch to Advertisers. I cant blame them, I'd do the same

If you want your account canceled, just log off and never come back. Nobody will notice you missing, and even you will soon forget that you were ever here. Problem solved.

Maybe just turn off your computer or just don't come to this site any more .

It's really quite easy.



PM moderator 4, he will forward that to moderator 3, 3 will in turn forward that to moderator 2, moderator 2 will send it up to IB Headquarter's in Helsinki Finland. They will review your request and send the "official cancel your THT account preliminary request form" (in Adobe format) back up the moderator chain. You should receive that in 4-8 weeks. Download the file, print it, fill it out. Then stuff that in an envelope with three forms of identification, a copy of your drivers license and SSN card, and either a TWIC id or Sam's Club ID card. Upon receipt of this paperwork and review by the International Boaters Forum Association, they will issue a formal " Verification Intent of Closure THT Account" form to you. Again that process may take 4-8 weeks. When you get that verification closure of account form it's really quite easy from there, notarize the form in front of a witness, get your fingerprint cards done at the local sheriff office, enclose those documents and overnight the package straight to Helsinki IB headquarters. They will issue you a wallet sized official THT account closure card. Done. It's that easy.

It would depend on what he checks under the religion box on the preliminary request. Let's say he wasn't Catholic. A Tibetan Buddhist would require the Dalai Lama's blessing. But IB Headquarters takes care of that for you.

Well......... almost.

See, the guy that used to do this left for a better job at Best Buy. The new kid they hired from has to learn the procedure from scratch - but he is from Finland so there is a bit of a language barrier. However, the new guy did take a ride in a canoe once so he "get's us" and can talk on our level.

Once the new guy has learned the new procedure your request should be processed in just a few months.

IB had asked me to write a Manual on how to do this but I wasn't able to make it complicated enough - so they told me to take a hike.

Nah, that's to much work. Besides, I never lied to him. On 2/15, he posted "Cancel my account" on three forums, so I canceled him on 2/15.
