Not sure about the sides, however, the bottom is solid glass.

Saw it yesterday. Have some pics coming later today. IT WAS IMPRESSIVE. Have to say of our group of guys that boat probably got the most comments. Beautiful layout, fit/finish, and even a really nice interior. Met the builder and ?wife, very nice folks. Gotta say that was one of the best done 45' boats i've seen. I've never been on a Jersey Cape but if that boat represents all of their work - - wow!!!

 I have heard it is just beautiful. Wayne and Genine are hard working, honest and fair. They deserve a ton of credit for evolving the Jersey Cape 36 into a complete line of high quality offshore sportfish boats from 31'-66'. I can't wait to see Your pictures.

I like the Ice....
Marlineer, check your White balance settings on your camera, the bluish color in your photo is coming from that setting not being correct.

Love it . The clean lines w/out air intake on the hull sides and the absence of hinges and latches only compliment that gorgeous helm!

Anybody knows the price? It is one magnificent boat. I gather they can make it with a marlin tower instead of the high tuna tower.

Very nice! I saw one in Cape May, back in April. It was SICK! I couldn't believe how wide the beam was! Beam had to be 15' .

Looks exactly like an East Bay built on Harkers Island

Its the only solid glass 45 carolina style hull available! You wont find a better constructed boat all the way to the things you dont see like electric and mechanical.

So its built out of a 2 piece hull mold?? Also, being its solid glass, is it heavier than a cold molded boat??

So its built out of a 2 piece hull mold?? Also, being its solid glass, is it heavier than a cold molded boat?? Yes the hull is heavier then a cold molded wood or foam boat. If you fish flat water light weight is good for lotsa speed. If you fish rough water you will wish you had a heavy hull under you! Its your choice and All boats are a compromise? The 31 bertram was built from a two piece mold and was a solid glass hull that became a legend because they never die. I dont think a boat that stays in the water should have a core under water.

Could anybody inform the approximate price? With a marlin tower, instead of the tuna tower? Much appreciated. Anybody has any pictures and price of the smaller JERSEY CAPE 40, EXPRESS? I gather is the same boat, but smaller.

I gather is the same boat, but smaller. Since I have owned a few expresses I can tell you there is a whole science to towers and looks. Good Looks that is. Why try to make this beautiful boat not beautiful? I also heard that this boat is based on the old 44 davis that had a hell of a good rough water reputation, but with vast changes to the bottom and the whole boat in general. Larger spray rails and a longer bottom. I have not ridden on this boat my self but a captain friend did and said it has a good ride in a rough sea.

Thanks BLY. These boats are just the epitome of beauty, class and quality. I cannot have it with the tuna tower. It won't fit in my shed. I would like to consider the EXPRESS 40 as well. No info at all in their web page. If anybody has any information on the price, please advise.

Ive never seen the 45 but the 36 is ridiculous. this may be a dumb question but whats the difference between and tuna tower and a marlin tower? is it just the height difference?

There's one by me up here in jersey and Ive never gotten it out of my head. The 36 had a center drive position more aft like close to the cockpit such a nice set up.

Its more then good! infact its more gooder then most 45 express boats. The wood work was so good around the helm area that I am not even sure if its not that burled walnut that you see in mercedes? The teak covering boards looked joined better then palm beach standards. The wiring is top notch. and the cockpit is huge. the control area in tower looked so modern but also fit the carolina look! Infact the more I look at this boat, it favors palm beach stuart finish! I dont have a horse in this race but if I could afford this boat? It would be mine! And I believe this demo can be gotten a lot less then the price quoted? But dont quote me!
