Just looked at the exhibitor list. Seems like very few of the boats in that category will be in the water for test rides. Looks like GW, Edgewater, Contender, Regulator, Yellowfin wont be there. Am I missing something?

Kingair,
Thanks. That's very helpful. I wonder if some of the boats that I listed might be in the water at the exhibits of the outboard manufacturers? Some of them have 2 or 3 docks for exhibits. How can we find out what boats are at their docks? Merc, Honda, Yam and Suz all have docks.

There are a couple on THT that said they would be there. I spoke to someone in the know, and they are updating the list every day. Someone local will know on wednesday, when they pull in. I really think the show will be scaled back from years past, but it is still nice to get to warm weather and celibrate my birthday

Will there be a Southport 28 there? Water or land?

I didn't see Southport on the exhibitors list. Unless they're in the water at an engine manufacturer's booth.

Mike, I know Contender will be at the Miami Beach Marina with every boat they make in the water. Just go to their booth at the Convention Center and they will make sure you get there.

No doubt Contender typically has the most boats available to demo and don't forget the Contender boat wash team !

Contender and Southport were at the marina. Yellowfin is at a private marina, and you can arrange a ride at the YF booth at the CC. From what I understand the marina was extremely expensive this year, $10k for a 35 ft slip for the show. Not sure about the others on your list.
