Just wondering as I'm looking at the Raymarine C series with in-hull transducer and the Furuno with the in-hull....wondering if anyone has used them on a Hydrasport with the kevlar hull? I'm worried that the performance may be degraded. I believe the Kevlar extends below the the waterline from bow to stern and if it does I wonder if it deflects/dampens the signal.

Should be ok as long as it is not a cored wood hull.

Obviously there will be some signal loss but no one has been able
to give a good effective signal loss value.

Have not run into any problems, on the Hydrosports. if you are concidering the Airmar M260 it is a great duer.

Good luck
