i bought a 23' keywest center console last year. been very pleased with the boat, but it seems to love to grow mold. especially in the console, but also in the anchor locker, fish boxes, on top of the fuel tank, etc. bought the boat used and there was no evidence of any mold. was wondering if any one else had a similar experience, or knows of a solution

is your console vented?

try a wash down with bleach water - meaning diluted, will clean nice too

yeah its vented, but i put a cover over the console, which pretty much defeats the purpose of the vents
