Thanks for the info. I got that feeling that the ASA is going the same route as the FLW. The ASA is more concerned about selling Fountains than trying to really build a premier Striper tournament circuit where there is a level playing field with no bias. The ASA should go to a team base tourney and not so much as a boat bias tourney. The rules should allow all teams to use any boat at your disposal at any time and the points earned go with the captain/team regardless of boat manufacture or size. At least the release format for 09 is a good thing, but the number of tournaments are dropping off from previous years.
