To say the least, I am very excited and just wanted to tell someone.
Now I just need to name her. Anybody want to throw out some suggestions?
I would like to name the boat after my daughter - Alexandra Elizabeth I was thinking maybe the Lexi Beth or Smart Alex ? Or maybe naming the boat Frantically Relaxing, I am an extreme type A personality and my wife thought this was fitting.
thanks

Best of luck with the new boat. No help with names, my wife insisted that I name mine "Tackle Box".
BTW, you can change you signature*from*"2004 Striper 2101 W/A with 175 Evinrude...coming in April" to "2004 Striper 2101 W/A with 175 Evinrude...arrived a week early"
Have fun.

Thanks Wayne that's a good idea. I should also add " and need to sell the old boat quick" LOL. My wife will drive me crazy if there are two boats parked in the driveway for more than a few weeks.

Thanks guys. My daugher is only 9 months old, so she won't be naming it. It will be me and my wife deciding. I really like names that are a play on words so I have to keep thinking.

Ah yes, I remember getting the call from the dealer. Your boat is here, please come and pick it up, we had 3 different guys that offered to buy it today alone. I said I'll be there in an hour, guard it with your life. Good luck with your new rig, may it give you years of trouble free pleasure.

First of all congrats!* I am picking up my new boat this weekend as well.
Secondly, A wise moderator from another forum detailed how all of his boats in his life were named after the important women in his life (wife, daughters, grand daughters, etc)
I think if you get nice elegant lettering on boths ides of the hull, plain Alexandra Elizabeth fits the bill nicely. Try playing with this website:

Congrats on your new boat. IMO Alexander Elizabeth will take up too much space on the side of your boat. How about Lizzy Beth. My daughter is Elizabeth and I almost named mine that. Frankly, Frantically Relaxing sounds a little lame.

What a coincidence. My two daughters have the middle names of Alexandra and Elizabeth.
Can't offer you any suggestions on the name but I wish you the best of luck with you new rig! :)
