Looking to pair to a Spheros 8000. 7' with a good backbone around 15-30 line rating and can throw 3+ oz. and a gimbal butt. Sub $100 price range.

What about those Barefoot rods - FBB70? Too heavy?

Barefoot went out of business due a batch of defective rods coming in from China awhile ago. I do not recommend them and definitely NOT over a Tallus!!
