John, do you carry the Daiwa Saltiga jigging rods lineup? I was wondering how they compare to the Penn Torque rods. Would you be able to give me some info on them both?

We do not carry the Daiwa Saltiga Jigging Rods yet but I can definitely get them for you if you have a specific part # you are looking for. The Penn Torque rods are made out of a graphite composite and for $100 they are well worth the $$$. A lot of guys I know have been fishing them this season with great results....we stock all of those models..

The model number is SA-JG 511HFB. If you have one or can get a hold of one let me know. I wanted to know how it compares in weight and action to the Shimano Trevala xxh rods. I like the trevala rods but the xxh is still so soft that the line touches the fore grip.

Not sure on there weight and feel to be honest I never seen one. I know this season people have been pounding tuna with the XXH trevala, rods incredible.

how do you compare the trevalla, penn torque, and star stellar? I'm not using it for jigging, but tarpon and bull drum fishing where I would be throwing 3-5 oz.

John set me up with a pair of Chaos rods with FinNor OS 75's for tuna. Spooled with braid, these set-ups are capable of kicking the crap out of big fish...

We do not carry Chaos unfortunately, they sell direct through their website and a bunch of shows around the country.

I do have the OFS75s and plenty of braid if you just want the reels....shoot me a PM or email and let me know.
