What is the best family friendly fresh seafood restaurant in the hhi area?

Many will say Crazy Crab, been there a long time and is good. My personal favorite and about just as old is Hudson's seafood. Good value and family owned. Good stuff.

Been around HHI since 73 Hudsons at the docks with shrimp boats.

Agree for the family friendly seafood - Hudson's. But for MORE family friendly, head to Crazy Crab at Harbortown on Sea Pines Plantation. Good (but not great) seafood but a nice walk around Harbortown Marina (looking at the MASSIVE yachts). Also if the kids are the right age, theres a little free concert nightly there aimed at kids right across from the Crazy Crab. You might want to google the Hilton Head visitors bureau. Steamers at Coligny is a good spot as well. Try out Santa Fe for their grouper and Big Bamboo at Coligny has great specials...two for one...

I'll be heading that way this week. I might have to try Hudsons out.

Hudson's is right up the river from Crazy Crab. Try both, worth the visit!

been to HH a few times one of my favorites is THE OLD OYSTER FACTORY good food a little pricy nice location on the water

We went to Michael Anthonys last Thursday. Some of the best pasta bolognese I've ever had. The penne pasta dish and the pasta fagioli my wife had was also very good. Also went to the May River Grill and the Squat and Gobble in Bluffton.

Alligator Grill in park plaza, chef Luke uses all local fish on his menu.....and the sushi is top shelf.
