I realize this is an Edsel in a Cadillac world but: Have any of you guys pushed, paddled, or trolling motored this one around?

I looked at one yesterday. Injection molded but solid and strong. Heavy at 80+ and 120+ with console but...I'm 319lbs and want to sight fly fish Reds is really, really skinny. I'll piggyback her like the shuttle on/in my high-sided Mako 21 to the destination and then disembark. Any comment or suggestion is appreciated.

That is the dangest craft I have seen!! Looks like an iron board on steroids!! Now there is a paddle craft that you need a power craft to take out fishing? I would take a look at the video on the website of the guy paddling with the trolling motor on back and there is water on top of the back of the board. I will say this - You will be noticed on the water on one of those things. It is so ugly I kind of like it!!! Don't know how practical. Let us know how it works out. The concept of having a paddle or poling type craft that you must take out on a power craft to use does seem a bit silly? Why didn't I think of that!!

I have one and use it almost every day. I am about 240lbs,and use a 40lb riptide with a deep cycle 27. Battery last's about all day. I throw a 8ft net and use a 5gal bubbler as well will handle well over 400 lbs. the only down side to this craft is high wind makes it a little tough. But the shallow draft and awesome sight fishing capability's make it my choice for what i do. My master angler has been the red headed stepchild lately. If you have any other questions. feel free to email, or your welcome to try mine. JK

Been out now on the unit a few times. Floats in a puddle. Still getting used to the thing but I like it. Easy to sight cast from but a little unstable for me to stand and operate. Again I'm 6'6 319lbs. An extension to the tiller handle is a must though and need to steady the battery in the seat/chest compartment. It shifted a couple of times and got my attention. More to come...
