I know I am getting older when I love getting up at 5 am and enjoy a little time on THT, watch the news and weather and enjoy several cups of coffee but
the I guess it is the caffine that is gets me. I see to have indigestion during the ams so I have switched to the new 1/2 and 1/2 coffee which is suppose to be
half the caffine.
I plan on switching to decaf completely next week.
I have been told by several others that the decaf is better for you heart as well
WHo else has made this switch

I switched to tea, giveing coffee a break for a while. I don't think decafe will help with your indigestion.

trpice, I made the switch to 1/2 and 1/2 a couple of weeks ago mostly because I wanted to cut back on caffeine. Turns out I actually have more energy now. Never had the problem with indigestion, though.

Sort of like drinking non-alcholic beer, whats the point of drinking it then?
I am a 6 or more cup a day man.

Same point as smoking Marlboro Lites instead of Reds I guess.

Why drink it if you don't go for the real thing

What's the point? ;?
I drink several pots a day. Does not hurt anything.
I do some fine work at work and find that caffiene can make me little less steady. I go Half caf when I can because I like having something in my hand, reminds me of my lost youth. I find that any sweet stuff with coffee gives me the uuurrrps and try to avoid any donuts or the like.

I tried decaf for a while, but it just didn't have the "kick" of regular.
The ONLY advantage the decaf had was it made me pee less. :Q
I only drink 1 cup a day, though.

Went to 1/2 and 1/2 in the morning. Rest of the day is regular. I drink a lot of coffee and I wanted to cut back a little on the caffeine. In the afternoons I'll make a big cup or 2 with a coffee press to get a good strong brew.

I work through a full pot of coffee each morning, usually finish it just before lunch, then switch to water for the rest of the day. No decaf for me, what's the point.
