They released their tax returns for the past 5 years early today, which showed that they took in 109 million bucks. Made from speeches, book deals etc.

And nary a word on here about it, after previous criticism about not releasing the tax returns.

Some disappointment perhaps. No smoking guns.

Quite frankly when I heard 20 mill a year I was surprised it was so low.

Again, interesting that there was zero traffic about this on a forum that can get pretty political!

Menz, that would be because it just isn't interesting in and of itself.

What IS interesting is whether or not they payed each individual state's income tax on the $52-million in income earned from speaking engagements in states with income tax. Yes, it is very much taxable income in each state. That information has NOT been released. Ironically, as most stuff surrounding the habitual liars that are the Clintons is, it would be crimes if they did not pay those taxes.

Just accept it, Menz, there are no viable candidates running for pres this time around.

The interesting part is the amount of income they did not itemize in the release....namely, the 10 to 20 million dollars BJ got from Dubai. You know Dubai, it's the country Hillary said should not be able to manage our ports, yet it is good enough to pay her husband millions of dollars. The other detail that was absent is the $150 million BJ reportedly racked in on arranging a shady third world oil/natural gas deal .... oh yeah, that probably went into his slush fund his calls this foundation.

Well I saw that over a I think 7 year period they[Clintons] reported over $100 million in income. It averaged to over $45K a day.I don`t have a problem with people making money, but don`t try to tell some unemployeed coal miner in PA. that "I feel your pain".I guess over the week end there will be some bean counters from the other side, Obama for right now, trying to disqualify them[Clintons] as honest or ethical income.

I think the public has grown numb to the Clintons and everything they've been mixed up in. Where do you begin. Whitewater, the suspicious death of Vincent Foster, Bill and all of his affairs (one of which even occuring in the White House), etc. etc. etc.

Every time you turn around it's something else with the Clintons. It's come to the point that when it comes to the Clintons, everyone just yawns.

I don't think they are much different than any of our other royal White house families.

They are different. They are dishonest in a way we have never seen before in US politics.

Don't forget, HilLIARy was fired from her position as a lawyer working toward prosecution of Nixon during Watergate. She literally was on the verge of filing a fraudulent brief (that she manufactured) with the court. Had she been allowed to file it she would have been disbarred for life. She is smarmy in ways that even race-hater Baraka HUSSEIN Obama could not stomach.

It is worth the time to read this short article: http://www.northstarwriters.com/dc163.htm

"...Zeifman says he was urged by top committee members to keep a diary of everything that was happening. He did so, and still has the diary if anyone wants to check the veracity of his story. Certainly, he could not have known in 1974 that diary entries about a young lawyer named Hillary Rodham would be of interest to anyone 34 years later.

But they show that the pattern of lies, deceit, fabrications and unethical behavior was established long ago – long before the Bosnia lie, and indeed, even before cattle futures, Travelgate and Whitewater – for the woman who is still asking us to make her president of the United States."

Thank you Menzies.....,

For reminding us how "independent" you are.

Bill (Admitted Felonious Disbarred Perjurer) Clinton "earned" 52million by giving speeches and writing books. It just shows a sucker and his money are soon parted. (My apologies to the originator of the "sucker/money" quote.)

CMP Lauds the Clinton Charity. Me too. I can't keep my eyes dry. The Clintons are the MILK OF HUMAN KINDNESS. (Just ask the Paula Jones Family) Except here's how it likely goes. Clinton (HilLIARy or Bill) give a speech. Appearance fee of $500,000. Then the "give back" the appearance fee to the "Charity/Doogoder/Nonprofit." Instant $500,000 charitible contribution. 20 of those in 7 years, and you have $10,000,000 in Charity. Clintons are out 20-30 hrs of their "time" and HilLIARy is rewarded with indirect exposure for her campaign for President of the United States. (I can't resist....."It Takes A Village" BTW, HiLIARy (AKA--Document Shredder) "donated" the proceeds of "It Takes A Village" To Charity.) Now that one was sure to put food in the mouths of "poor" Americans. Please pass me another Hanky!

10M or so from his "investment" in some Global Investment Fund. (Other major investors reported to be overseas Foreign Investment Funds/AKA Middle Eastern Influence) Nice legal way to transfer assets/influence to Bill/HilLIARy. But then, HilLIARy has an excellent history of sage "investment" decisions. Remeber how she took $1000 US dollars (1979 dollars to boot) and made $100,000 in nine months by "reading the Wall Street Journal" World's smartest woman, no doubt.

I understand how the Clintons "made" 109 Million in seven years. What I don't understand, and perhaps Menzies can help me here, is why they didn't earn $1Billion? or perhaps a Trillion? The Midas touch knows no limit.

Thank you Menzies. You are wise and correct. The vast right wing conspiracy has yet to weigh in on this issue. Hopefully this post will move them to their keyboards.

And now this, just cut and pasted from Yahoo News 1900p 5Apr2008.

......Also Saturday, Clinton campaign officials acknowledged that an anecdote Clinton has made a staple of her stump speech in recent weeks may not have been true and wasn't thoroughly checked for accuracy before she began repeating it on the campaign trail.

Since competing in Ohio's March 4 primary, Clinton has shared the story of an Ohio woman who worked in a pizza parlor and died after giving birth to a stillborn child. The woman was uninsured, Clinton said, and twice denied medical care at a local hospital because she couldn't pay a $100 fee.

Clinton said she learned of the story from a deputy sheriff whose home she visited while campaigning in Ohio. She told the story as recently as late Friday, at a rally in Grand Forks, N.D.

Officials with O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio, have disputed the story, saying the woman, Trina Bachtel, was insured and did receive care through an obstetric practice affiliated with the hospital, The New York Times reported Saturday.

Hospital officials did not immediately return phone calls Saturday from The Associated Press.

Clinton spokesman Mo Elleithee acknowledged that the campaign had tried but hadn't been able to "fully vet" the story before she began repeating it on the campaign trail.

"She tells the story as it was told to her by the deputy sheriff. She had no reason to doubt his word," Elleithee said. "If the hospital claims it didn't happen that way, we certainly respect that and she won't repeat the story. She never mentions the hospital by name and isn't trying to cast blame."

Elleithee noted that candidates often retell stories they are told by voters they meet on the campaign trail.

Why is it when Sen. HilLIARy Clinton repeatedly prevaricates on the campaign trail it is and "anectdote?"
Why isn't the smartest lawyer woman in the history of the world able to pick campaign staff competent enough vet the stuff she plans on repeating in public?
Will she fill her cabinet with people equally competent? First the snipers, now the hospital refusing/caring for this poor lady without...oops with insurance? (What's the difference?)
A self assured confident woman ready for Presidency DAY ONE!!!!!

Is it Dick Cheney's fault? (Must be somehow)

Now, the former first lady is a victim again. A victim of that darned old ignorant Depty' Shurrf" who probly tole the yarn with a straw in his mouth'.
A victim of her campaign staff.

Heck doesn everybody........

Place appropriate ans. here:________________________________

1. Lie on the campaign trail
2. Lie about sex
3. Cheat on our taxes
4. Shred public documents
5. Pardon major contributors that are felons
6. Threaten to fire employees in the White House travel office.
7. Lie about how we "earned" our income
8. Lie under oath
9. All the above

I'm glad the Clintons make every dime they can get their hands on. I'm glad they appear to pay taxes and give to charity. (We'll just take their good word the things they say and report to the IRS are true!!!)

Bill and Hillary are back on the story where she tried to join the Army or Marines after the Vietnam war. Since they have both told this story they can't seem to decide if it was the Army or Marines. ANYWAY, the reason she was rejected was because her eyes were so bad...

So...here we go. I will start.
1. Her eyes were so bad that maybe she couldn't tell if it was the Army or Marines.
2. She was rejected because of her "LIES" not "EYES"...

Your turn...And here is a fact for some of you (Bush or Cheney had nothing to do with it) she lied on her own.

I gotta believe not many want a facist elected President of the United States of America this fall. If by facist you mean like Hitler, or Pinochet.

On the other hand, it might defy logic to deny the socialistic credentials of 1) Obama 2)HilLIARy 3)McCain. (In descending order)

Unless I missed something, I don't believe there is to be a member of the Nazi Party on this fall's ballot. At least in South Carolina, where I live.

And that's the rub. Right now, "we gots to dance with them that brung us!" Or toss your vote away on Nader, Gus Hall, Easter Bunny, or Vlad Putin.

Back on topic, If it were up to me, I'd Assign Bill Clinton president for life. That sonofagun has a nose for money!
Estimates run our national debt up near 1 Trillion dollars. If "Dollar Bill" can amass a mere 109million in 7 years, imagine the amount he could generate if he were Numero UNO again?

Plus, the famous "You get him, you get me!!" HilLIARy is no slouch a raking in cash. With Bill and HilLIARy yapping and generating money nonstop, they'd knock down --easily--$500 Billion the first year. Heck, we're half way there before the midterm elections.

And here's the coup de gras.... Sweeten the deal my assigning Barak Obama VP. What with his real estate skills, even in a down market like now, the money will flow off the presses faster than you can shout-----G@D D@MN @MERIKA!

The Trifecta. A political/financial/economic Miracle! That triumvirate would make the Sultan of Brunei, Warren Buffett, and Wm. Gates look like paupers.

None of us peons that visit this site have a chance at all to have a voice in our government. Our "choice" was taken away long ago.

I recently quit working for a company I was with for 21.5 years. I could finally not stand their lies and the way they treated the workers. I am now "quitired". I quit and don't plan on going to work for anyone at anytime. I am now totaly on my own with the savings I have accrued.

So Hillary, give me free Health care, housing, food, cable TV etc. I want to see what I'll qualify for in the feeding trough that theFed Govt gives the low lifes of this great country.

I've never accepted a cent in welfare, unemployment, food stamps, govt cheese etc.

Just let me keep what little I have and notproperty tax me to death or add "fees" on fishing, gardening, more taxes on gasoline.etc.

I'm mad as hell at my so called govt. and I'm nottaking any more sh*t from any of them.

Our "leaders" must understand that this country is on the verge of another revolution that will put all these candidates in jail forever.

Folks......we are going to choose a president from a group (of 3).....pay attention now....THAT HAS NEVER ...NEVER...
had to worry where the next house payment is going to come from....who buys and/or pays for the food on the table..
makes a car payment....worry about job security....how they are going to send a kid to college...or have ever called
a plumber, electrician or anyother house repair emergency....THE LIST GOES ON....

They do not UNDERSTAND or KNOW what "we" experience everyday....

Oh but they can stand up and profess our woes and promise to help.......Their goal in life...to feather their pockets
$$$$ wise and power wise.......and promise the decent, hard working soul of America that "they are here to save us
from all evils".........I will cast my vote for someone.......but "we the people" have been duped again........and awake
every morning to face "the real world"................

I seen something on TV the other day it was from one of these people that takes polls. He said that since this business of
campaign finance reform began, the only thing that came out of it is that only millionaire`s can play.He gave an example by the number of millionaires in congress. If that is the case it doesn`t look good for the working stiffs. So it would seem that changing the parameters and term limits would be the only way for the citizens to get back in control of the government.
