I have a large center console with a small forward cuddy (a 29 Strike with twin 250 Yamahas) on a lift behind my house. At times, I have very little water at my dock and would like to put it on a mooring anchor from time to time, under lock and key, 50’ further out, into deeper water in order to get out at extreme low tides. I am trying to find an alarm system which would protect the boat in the event that someone climbs aboard but not be affected by a modest Indian River chop, wakes, or by the occasional bird. Perhaps something like the car alarm systems which would not only sound an alarm, but also notify me by pager, in that I am only 200 feet or so away in my house. I have searched the net and have found very little. Does anybody have any experience with this or any recommendations? All help would be appreciated.

Thanks

This is probably overkill, but I had this on my 43 Post and it was awsome. Wish I had it on my intrepid when it was stolen this summer.

I dont think that will work well on an open boat. By the way, I read on the Fla. Sportsman Forum what happened to your boat this summer, sorry to hear it, but also read that you got it back.

Call your local high end car stereo shop. They will be able to fix you up no problem.
