i used to like this forum......WTF....no new posts in a week.......you would think a site with 74000 members would have a few people interested in kayaking and surfing

Hello Randall, I'm visiting my folks here in NC and hoping to score some waves this am down here. Tried to go to Ocracoke Island last night but they cancelled the ferry b/c of 68 mph gusts....wimps. Plan B is to go borrow a board from a former neighbor of mine from E. Islip who lives in Wilmington and surfs Wrightsville Beach. I will be putting my boat in Cutchogue for the season, we will have to meet up. I'm also looking to plan a snowboarding trip out west for next season, maybe you have some suggestions for me. Hope that you score in Montauk today. Ron

hey ron....gale warnings here today ....truth is i dont surf in the winter anymore but saw some pix of turtles on valentines day that were insane. leaving shortly to be one of the first to snowboard taos ,new mexico....then on to utah and idaho....love spring skiing.....start surfing again in the middle of april.

yeh we'll have to get together this summer and look for waves or fish ....or both

thanks....i been lurkin there a bit but theres a limit to how many sites you can participate in.....this one went from number 3 (bertram sites 1,2 ) to number six.............but that is a good site....thanks again....just kind of a shame how participation on this site is so down
