I saw an add for Brand X in a magazine, they don't have much information on their website, www.brandxaudiovideo, and their phone number gave me an answering machine that no one returned my call. Also my email hasn't been responded too.
Has anyone here heard of this brand, and know where I can buy their stuff?

..after what you went thru, I'd go with something a bit more established with a valid dealer network.....

I totally agree, the only reason I am even bothering with this company that seems impossible to reach is because they make a 12ch marine amplifier, that would eliminate my need for 3 amps.

how many speakers do you have? if its only 12, it may be possible to go with a 6 channel amp and run the amp at 2 ohms by wiring 2 speakers per channel. it would depend on the impedance of the speakers though.

I don't know that much about speakers, they are 4 ohm speakers, but I don't know if 2ohms would damage them

If a company does not call you back and you can not find a dealer, it is safe to say you should probably stay away!!
As for a 12 channel amp....... what type of boat are you install this in? I would love to see what this amp looks like, can you post a picture or website?
Thanks

Update to my previous post:
That amp is a beauty 12 channels : 10 channels @ 125 watts and 2 channels @250 watts. Unfortunately I could not find
dimensions for the amp but their line of products look attractive.

I am going to give it one more try mon, they install the amps. I am assuming they are a small start up company, with limited manpower.
I only have 8 speakers and two subwoofers, probalby only going to mount 2 amps and run some speakers off the head unit. It's going on a Sea Pro center console, pics to follow.

Get the net you should post what you are trying to setup, you will receive some good advice. If I was running 2 amps and 10 speakers I would not use the radios internal power for any speakers. If you are running a four channel amp you could power 8 four ohm speakers off that one amp. How big is your center console ? More is not always better ( In my opinion.)
