I just purchased a hobie revo and can see that it might be a bit of a challenge to mount a fishfinder where it's close enough to reach due to the mirage drive. Any advice on this and rod holders etc. would be greatly appreciated. No need to reinvent the wheel. Thanks. :)

The only way I've seen them in the revo's is on a pipe in the mast holder. That's one of my future projects for mine.

Sarge,
That's the location I thought about. It just seems to be a long reach to change settings and I wonder how bright sunlight would affect viewing that far away.

This guy has a revo with a RAM mount in the flat area below the lift handle. Don't know how this would be to fish around....

We sell truckloads of Hobies and always put the fishfinders on the left gunnel either using the scottys mount or a ball mount. The rail is narrow on the revo so Hobie now sells a ball mount designed for the revo. your dealer should have them in stock. If you cant find one give me a buzz.

Fellas,

Just received my Ram mount and it looks like I'll be mounting it on the right gunnel. It will be close enough to change settings and with the rams' incredible range of adjustment it shouldn't be a problem to move around. Thanks.

If you are right handed you should land all fish on the right side so you want your fishfinder on the left side.
